Why this deal
Dhigufaru — ‘a long reef’ in Dhivehi — is a private island in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The house reef starts at the beach, there are five places to eat, the Funa Spa runs to 241m², and Hanifaru Bay — one of the best-known manta gathering sites anywhere — is on the doorstep. Manta season runs roughly May to November and peaks between August and October, which is squarely inside this offer’s travel window.
Most Maldives family offers quietly stop counting a child as a child at eleven. Dhigufaru’s runs to fifteen — often the difference between a family holiday you can actually book and one you price up, wince at, and put back down. The Baraveli Kids Club is complimentary on every plan and has its own pool and playground.
The rest of it is the same kind of straightforwardness. Every rate here is the Full Board price and the resort upgrades you to All-Inclusive for nothing, through a contract we hold directly. The seaplane — usually the line item that quietly reframes a Maldives quote — is in the price for two adults, in every villa category. The 40-minute flight from Malé to Dhigufaru is one of the world’s great scenic journeys — a low-level glide over ring after ring of turquoise atoll, ending on the lagoon at your own island. Seaplane transfers normally add hundreds of dollars per person to a Maldives holiday.
On this offer the return seaplane is free for two adults, in every villa category. Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so if your international flight lands in the evening we route you by domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and a 30-minute speedboat instead — confirmed at quote, at no extra cost.

Most Maldives kids-free deals stop at 11. Dhigufaru’s stretches all the way to 15 — teenagers included.

What does the free All-Inclusive upgrade actually include?
Every price on this page is Dhigufaru's Full Board rate. Through our direct contract the resort upgrades you to full All-Inclusive at no extra cost. Half Board and bed-and-breakfast rates are also available on enquiry, each with a free upgrade to the next plan up.
How old can our children be to stay free?
Two children under 16 stay and dine free in the Sunrise and Sunset Beach Villas, Pool Beach Villa, Semi Water Villa, Two Bedroom Family Beach Villa and the Sangu Suite. One child stays free in the overwater categories, subject to that villa’s occupancy limit. Children pay the seaplane transfer and per-person taxes only.
How do we get to the resort?
A 40-minute seaplane from Malé, included for two adults in every villa category. Evening arrivals are routed by domestic flight to Dharavandhoo followed by a 30-minute speedboat.
Are the ‘was’ prices real?
Yes. Each struck price is the resort’s own undiscounted rack rate for that same villa on the same basis. We do not publish a saving we cannot substantiate.
Can we celebrate an occasion?
Honeymoon, anniversary and birthday stays receive wine on arrival, bed decoration and a celebration cake. A marriage certificate may be requested for honeymoon perks.
