Terms & Conditions
Mykish Travels PTY LTD (ABN 37 681 907 380) operates from Wishart, Queensland, and acts as an independent travel agent arranging flights, accommodation, tours and related travel services on your behalf through third-party suppliers (resorts, airlines, cruise lines and tour operators).
Our role as agent
Mykish Travels arranges bookings; it is not the supplier of the underlying travel product or service. Your contract for the specific flight, accommodation, tour or cruise you book is directly with the relevant supplier(s), and that supplier's own terms and conditions apply to your booking alongside these terms. Mykish Travels accepts no liability for the acts, omissions, or operational performance of any third-party supplier.
Your responsibilities as a traveller
- Hold a valid passport for the duration of your trip, and check that it remains valid for at least six months beyond your return date, as most destinations require.
- Obtain any visas, ESTA/eTA approvals (for destinations such as the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom) and vaccinations required for your itinerary.
- Arrange travel insurance covering cancellation and medical expenses before you travel.
- Review each supplier's own terms and conditions, which apply independently of these terms.
- Confirm baggage allowances and reconfirm flight details directly with the airline within 24 hours of departure.
Payments and cancellations
Deposits required at the time of booking are generally non-refundable in the case of a change of mind. Prices remain subject to change until full payment has been received and the booking is confirmed by the relevant supplier. Where a supplier charges a cancellation or amendment fee, you are liable for that fee — which may be up to 100% of the booking cost — in addition to any amendment fee charged by Mykish Travels. Merchant service fees may apply to credit and debit card payments. Refunds processed by a supplier can take up to 12 weeks or more to be returned.
Limitation of liability
Mykish Travels is not responsible for the performance of third-party suppliers, the accuracy of information provided by them, baggage loss or damage, or events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure) — including natural disasters, government action, and pandemics.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brisbane, Queensland.
