Luxury apartments in Rovaniemi city centre
Luxury self-catering apartments in the middle of Rovaniemi, with the museums, the square and the restaurants on foot.
Why I put families in the city centre
I put families in the city centre because everything starts and ends at your door: the husky, aurora and icebreaker pickups collect you a short walk away, the bus to Santa Claus Village goes from round the corner, and there are supermarkets, the market and more restaurants than you’ll get through. When we stayed there ourselves we never once thought about food, transport or what to do with the kids — it was all outside the door, and you cook when you feel like it.

- Everything starts and ends at your door. The husky, aurora and icebreaker pickups collect you a short walk away.
- The bus to Santa Claus Village goes from round the corner.
- Supermarkets, the market and more restaurants than you’ll get through, all on foot.
- You cook when you feel like it. A private kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer of your own.
- Lordi Square is a few steps away and the Arktikum a seven-minute walk, so the city is the thing you step out into.
What it is
These are apartments rather than hotel rooms, and on a winter trip that difference does real work: a private kitchen, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer of your own, a few steps from Lordi Square.
There are four kinds — a one-bedroom, a two-bedroom, a penthouse and a luxury suite. The two-bedroom apartments have a sauna of their own.

The days in between
You are staying in the middle of Rovaniemi, and the days are the reason you came. Huskies and reindeer, snowmobiles out through the forest, a morning cutting holes in the ice to fish, the icebreaker out on the frozen sea, and the fells at Riisitunturi.
We arrange all of it for you and book it before you travel, and the pickups collect you a short walk from your door — which is the whole reason we put families in the city centre rather than out at a resort.

Seasons
The apartments are the same in every season — there is no seasonal difference in what you get, and nothing here closes for the winter. What changes is the town around them.

Who it suits
Families who want the city on the doorstep. Two bedrooms plus sofa beds in the living room, and a kitchen you can feed everyone from at whatever hour you get back.
Couples who want the room to be part of the trip. A sauna of your own in the two-bedroom apartments, and a penthouse and a suite above them.
Anyone staying a week. A washing machine and a tumble dryer of your own are worth more than they sound after six days of snow gear.
Questions we get asked
What kinds of apartment are there?
Four: a one-bedroom, a two-bedroom, a top-floor penthouse with a long enclosed terrace, and a luxury suite. Every one has a private kitchen and a washing machine in the apartment.
Do the apartments have a sauna?
The two-bedroom apartments each have a sauna of their own. For the one-bedroom, the penthouse and the suite we confirm what is in the exact apartment with you before you book.
How many people do they sleep?
The two-bedroom has a double bed in one bedroom, two single beds in the second and sofa beds in the living room. Tell us who is coming and we will confirm the beds on the exact apartment before you book.
How big are they?
The two-bedroom apartments we hold run 57, 67, 71 and 73 square metres, the two largest with a balcony. For the other types we will tell you the size and the layout of the apartment we would actually put you in.
Where exactly are they?
In central Rovaniemi, a few steps from Lordi Square and a seven-minute walk from the Arktikum Science Centre, with Korundi House of Culture, the Art Museum and the Lumberjack’s Candle Bridge all nearby on foot.
How do we get there from the airport?
Rovaniemi Airport. We arrange a private transfer and confirm the timing against your flights.
Is there a kitchen and a washing machine?
Yes to both, in the apartment: a private kitchen with a dishwasher, and a washing machine and a tumble dryer of your own, which are worth more than they sound on a week of snow gear.
How does check-in work?
Private check-in and check-out. Check-in runs from 16:00 to midnight and the property needs to know your arrival time in advance; check-out is available 24 hours.
Is there parking?
Yes — free private parking on site, with no reservation needed, and there is an electric-vehicle charging station.
Is there a restaurant or breakfast?
No. These are self-catering apartments with no restaurant, no bar and no breakfast — the kitchen is the dining offer.
Are they wheelchair accessible?
The upper floors are reached by lift and there are wheelchair-accessible apartments. Tell us what you need and we will confirm it before you book.
One honest line: the northern lights are a natural phenomenon and can’t be guaranteed — they depend on solar activity and cloud cover on the night. What we can promise is the planning: the right place, the right nights, and a stay built to give you the best possible chance.
