Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa sits in Meemu Atoll, roughly 148 km south of Malé and a 45-minute seaplane flight from the airport — one of the least-visited atolls in the Maldives, which is precisely its appeal. The resort is really two islands: the five-hectare main island, with its overwater arms curving across the lagoon, and the smaller 2.5-hectare Platinum Island, joined by a walkway across the water.
A hundred bungalows share a single, simple idea — the same 70 m² barefoot footprint on sand or stilts — and since November 2025 the whole property has been adults-only, run entirely on all-inclusive boards. It’s a tranquil, honestly-priced island escape in the older Maldivian style: unhurried, quiet, and closer to an empty reef than almost anywhere else we sell.

All four bungalow categories share the same intimate 70 m² footprint, opening straight onto sand or water, with the island pools and the lagoon doing the swimming — the spend here goes into what you eat, drink and do rather than into designer styling. Manta rays reported year-round at Meemu Atoll's outer-reef dive sites reachable by dive boat from the resort (Hakuraa Express channel, Muli Out cleaner station, Kurali Kandu manta point) — per the resort's own dive-site guide. This is atoll-wide dive-site marine life, not a house-reef claim.

From Australia, Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa connects via one of the major Malé gateways — Singapore Airlines via Singapore (SIN), Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur (KUL), SriLankan Airlines via Colombo (CMB), or Emirates via Dubai (DXB).
Every Mykish Maldives package includes your return transfers — always. The standard inclusion is the domestic transfer, and the roughly 45-minute seaplane hop from Malé south to Meemu Atoll — the resort has its own seaplane platforms, and the low-altitude flight over the atolls is a highlight in itself — is normally an upgrade. Your return transfer is included in every Mykish package; we confirm which basis your quote is built on when we send it.
Seaplanes are operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) from their own terminal at Malé airport and fly in daylight only — the operating window is 6am–4pm, with check-in opening three hours before departure — so we plan your international arrival into Malé around that window rather than leaving it to chance. Seaplane baggage allowance is 25kg checked plus 5kg hand luggage; excess is charged directly by the operator, per kilo.

Consultant tip: pack light and soft for the seaplane leg — a soft-sided bag is far easier to handle on the seaplane platform than a large hard case. Seaplanes fly in daylight hours only, so if your international flight lands into Malé late in the day, ask us to build the connection into your itinerary rather than discovering the transfer window on arrival.

Both of the resort’s board plans are all-inclusive — there is no full-board option. All-Inclusive covers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at Malaafaiy Restaurant, morning, evening and late-night snacks, unlimited house-brand spirits, wine, draught beer, cocktails and mocktails, soft drinks and juices, complimentary snorkelling equipment with a twice-daily snorkelling shuttle, gym and recreation facilities, and a once-daily minibar refill. Premium All-Inclusive (minimum 5-night stay) adds premium-brand drinks, a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, a daily-replenished minibar, fresh juices and milkshakes, two complimentary excursions per guest per stay, invitations to two themed events, a special beach dinner, one signature 60-minute Balinese treatment at Mandara Spa per stay, and a nightly chocolate turndown. Diving, motorised water sports and further spa treatments stay chargeable on both plans.
Meemu Atoll is a remote, lightly-dived atoll with an extensive barrier reef — the resort’s own dive-site guide reports manta ray sightings year-round at nearby channel and cleaner-station dive sites, reached by dive boat rather than directly off the beach. A twice-daily complimentary snorkelling shuttle runs guests out to reef locations.
No advance visa is required. The Maldives grants a free 30-day tourist visa on arrival to all nationalities, including Australians, provided you hold a passport valid for 6+ months beyond your stay, proof of onward or return travel, confirmed accommodation, and sufficient funds for your visit.
