Hurawalhi is a named collaborator of Parley for the Oceans’ Maldives program, and runs its own visible operation behind that: 4,102.5 m² of solar panels — roughly the size of 26 volleyball courts — across staff areas and dining jetties, and a desalination and glass-bottling plant that mineralises and chills the island’s own drinking water to cut plastic bottles out of the resort.
