Why I recommend it
Nala suits couples wanting a genuinely new-build Crown & Champa property (opened December 2025) with adults-only calm baked in from day one — 80 villas, a PADI 5-star Instructor Development Centre, and a Sulha Spa with Himalayan salt room and red-light therapy. The “by Jawakara” name causes confusion; it’s simply the shared-lagoon sister to Jawakara Islands Maldives, a 3-minute boat ride away.
Best for
The honest fit
Nala is the newest island in our portfolio, and that’s precisely its appeal: opened in December 2025, everything — all 80 villas across four categories, the Sulha Spa with its Himalayan salt room and red-light therapy, the Prodivers PADI centre — is box-fresh, with adults-only calm (guests 12 and above) designed in from day one. It’s an intimate ten-hectare island a 35-minute seaplane from Malé, run on a single Premium All-Inclusive plan, and a three-minute boat ride opens up the bars, à la carte restaurants and sports facilities of Jawakara’s neighbouring Mabin and Dheru islands as part of your stay. Take it honestly on its own terms: house-reef snorkelling here runs as guided boat trips rather than a walk-in-off-the-beach reef, and a property this young simply doesn’t have a many-seasons track record yet — travellers who want under-12s welcomed, beach-entry snorkelling or a long-proven island are better matched elsewhere in our range, and we’ll point you straight there.

Sustainability
Nala builds sustainability into the villas themselves: the Sunrise Beach Villas and Sunset Beach Pool Villas are powered by solar energy — the resort’s own fact sheet frames the island as “where comfort meets sustainability.” (Source: official Nala Maldives fact sheet, on file with Mykish.)
Planning your trip
Return transfers are included in every Mykish package. We confirm the transfer basis on your quote.
Nala sits in Lhaviyani Atoll, in the same shared lagoon as sister property Jawakara Islands Maldives.
From Australia, Nala connects via the major Malé gateways, then either a ~40-minute seaplane transfer or a domestic flight to Madivaru Airport followed by a ~40-minute speedboat ride.
Consultant tip
Consultant tip: because Nala is a genuinely new opening, confirm any specific inclusion or facility directly with us before your trip.
